This is the actual place where the H.L. Hunley was launched on it's final mission. The place is called Breach Inlet and it's on the northern shore of Sullivan's Island, SC. It's only a few miles from downtown Charleston and a great place to watch the waves and enjoy the constant breeze. If you watch long enough, you'll also see dolphins emerging from the waters. |

This is one of the daring angles I like to try sometimes. It's a technique I call "click and run". No zoom lens used, the tide really was that close to the camera. |
